Visit the charming Zichron Yaacov, a colony established in 1882 by Jewish pioneers from Romania and later on supported by the Baron Rotchaild, that’s where the famous Carmel winery was established, the winery that brought back the wine industry alive. Visit one of the boutique wineries in the area, walk along the restored colorful colony, from there continue to a “wet” walk throughout the Roman Aqueduct of Caesarea at Alona Park, visit the Druze village of Daliyat el Carmel, with authentic Druze hospitality and a walk through the authentic market.
